Summary
Workchain is currently recruiting for a temporary HGV Class 1 Driver position in Burntwood. As a driver in the driving industry, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their desired destinations. This position is within the driving industry and offers a pay rate of £18 - £19 per hour. This work is palletised deliveries with a tail lift pump truck for a client in the Burntwood area . It will be 0700 starts and usual shift lengths are around 9.5 hours to 10 most days. This is Monday to Friday work (NO NIGHTS OUT!) Key responsibilities:- Transporting goods in a safe and timely manner- Following all road regulations and company policies- Performing vehicle checks before and after each journey- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accuratelyQualifications required:- Valid HGV Class 1 license- CPC certification- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class 1 driver- Good communication and customer service skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamThe pay rate for this position is from £18 to £19 per hour.
