Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business supplying and servicing electronic equipment for the leisure and gaming industry across the UK.

Hours and Pay:

- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, in their Hull workshop

- £13 to £14.50 an hour, subject to experience

Their workshop is responsible for repairing a wide range of equipment including:

- Windows and Android tablets

- Bingo handheld terminals

- Thermal printers

- LCD monitors

- Note acceptors

- Power supplies

- Electronic assemblies and peripheral devices

The Role

As an Electronics Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a wide range of electronic equipment to a high standard.

Typical duties include:

- Diagnosing electronic and hardware faults

- Repairing Windows and Android tablets

- Repairing printers, monitors and gaming equipment

- Component-level repairs where appropriate

- Soldering and replacing electronic components

- Testing repaired equipment before dispatch

- Recording repairs accurately using internal systems

- Helping maintain high workshop standards

- Identifying recurring faults and suggesting improvements

The Skills and Experience Required for This Role

Our client is looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience repairing electronic equipment

- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Experience working with Windows and/or Android devices

- Confidence dismantling and rebuilding electronic equipment

- Good soldering skills

- An understanding of electronic circuits and components

- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience repairing gaming, amusement or payment equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential
