An exciting opportunity has become available for a

Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, well-equipped small animal practice in

Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent role for a vet looking to develop their clinical skills within a supportive team while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

The practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with routine consultations, surgeries and dentistry, and who enjoys working within a collaborative environment. A wide variety of clinical interests are welcomed, allowing the successful candidate to develop their own areas of expertise while benefiting from a diverse and rewarding caseload.

The recently refurbished practice offers an excellent working environment, featuring a large operating theatre, dedicated dental suite, four consulting rooms and orthopaedic equipment. Led by an experienced Partner with a surgical certificate and supported by advanced surgical expertise within the wider team, the practice encourages continuous professional development and provides funding for further certificates where appropriate. Access to a nearby 24-hour hospital also allows seamless referral of more complex cases.

The position is available on a full-time basis, working a four-day week with either a 1 in 3 Saturday rota at the practice or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby sister hospital. There are

no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities, and part-time applications of up to 30 hours per week will also be considered.
