THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
·Repairing damaged vehicle body panels using approved repair techniques.
·Removing and replacing damaged panels and structural components where required.
·Carrying out chassis alignment and structural repairs using specialist equipment.
·Restoring vehicles to manufacturer specifications while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
·Working closely with estimators, paint technicians, and workshop colleagues to ensure an efficient repair process.
·Managing your workload to consistently meet productivity and quality targets.
·Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
·Following all health and safety and manufacturer procedures.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Repair Technician looking to join a business that values quality workmanship and offers genuine flexibility.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a busy Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body repair techniques.
·Experience using body alignment systems and specialist repair equipment.
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality repairs.
·The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional workshop.
·Good organisational and time management skills.
·A full UK driving licence.
