As Support Staff Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership to the support staff team across urgent care settings. You will work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to coordinate services, support patient pathways and maintain high standards of customer care. This is a varied role that combines team leadership with hands-on operational support, helping to ensure services remain responsive and resilient.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support the Urgent Care Support Staff Team across multiple service sites

• Coordinate administration, reception and operational activities to support patient care

• Provide hands-on support when needed, including reception, administration and driving duties

• Manage stock ordering and resources to ensure services run efficiently

• Support incident management, business continuity processes and service improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a healthcare, customer service or operational setting

• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience of administration, reception or service coordination processes

• Confidence using IT systems and learning new digital tools

• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to service needs, including some unsociable hours
