Psychology Graduate Opportunities - Fleet

Launch Your Career in Education, Psychology, or Mental Health Support

Have you recently completed your Psychology degree and are looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting children and young people?

If you're considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, Counselling, or Mental Health Support, this is an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience within a specialist educational setting.

We are working in partnership with a number of specialist SEN schools across Fleet that are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Psychology Graduates to join their teams from September.

These roles are ideal for graduates who are passionate about supporting young people and eager to build experience that will support future professional training or postgraduate study.

Previous classroom experience is not essential. Schools are looking for individuals who are compassionate, resilient, approachable, and committed to helping children achieve their potential.

If you have the right attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young people, full training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided.

As a Psychology Graduate, you will:

- Support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs

- Work closely with teachers, SEN professionals, and wider support staff

- Provide one-to-one and small group support throughout the school day

- Help students develop confidence, emotional regulation, independence, and social skills

- Assist with positive behaviour support strategies

- Contribute to a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

This role provides outstanding experience for graduates looking to progress into careers such as:

- Educational Psychology

- Clinical Psychology

- Counselling and Therapy

- SEN Teaching

- Mental Health and Wellbeing Support

- Youth Work and Pastoral Care

You will gain meaningful experience working directly with children and young people while making a positive and lasting impact on their educational journey.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

- A Psychology graduate or final-year Psychology student

- Interested in child development, mental health, and education

- Patient, adaptable, and empathetic

- Looking to gain experience before pursuing further training or postgraduate study

- Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs

- Full-time opportunities starting in September

- Competitive weekly PAYE pay from £100 per day

- Free CPD and specialist SEND training

- School visits and shadowing opportunities

- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant

- Opportunities to progress into long-term and permanent positions

- Safeguarding

- Behaviour Management

- Autism Awareness

- SEMH and Trauma-Informed Practice

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be subject to safeguarding and compliance checks in line with current DfE guidance, including an online search as part of the recruitment process.

If you're ready to gain valuable experience and take the next step towards a rewarding career in psychology, education, or mental health support, we'd love to hear from you.
