Summary
Lindum Group is a family run business operating as a successful construction company since 1956. We provide a range of construction services from new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects to construction-related services such as plant hire, security, roofing and waste recycling. Our Lindum Joinery division offers a friendly and professional bespoke joinery service to a variety of internal and external clients. Specialising is heritage and restoration work, we provide a complete service from advice, design and manufacture through to installation. We are currently seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join our team of cabinet makers and bench joiners, based at our modern and well equipped workshop in Lincoln.
Role requirements will include:
Experience in machining, assembling and finishing joinery items
A sense of pride in the quality in your work
A good knowledge of materials including timbers, glass and ironmongery
Good understanding of drawings
Abide by health and safety within a workshop environment
Be able to conduct site survey and produce cutting lists prior to manufacture
Reliable with a good work ethic
Be able to work alone and as part of a team
Innovative and proactive approach to problem solving
You will be based at our workshop in North Hykeham and will also be required to deliver and install finished products to sites in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. A full driving licence would be preferred.
The role is full-time (7.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.00am – 3.30pm on Fridays). Wage will commensurate with experience, skill level and qualifications.
