Summary

Working Pattern:

• Part-time 21 hours per week

• Working 3 days over a 7 day week

* Mandatory weekend working on a rotational basis *

East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor at our Cambridge, Histon Road Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join EACH’s vibrant retail team and be an essential member of one of our charity shops to maximise income from donated goods, new products, Gift Aid, and eCommerce.

As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager, acting as Duty Manager in their absence. You’ll also help lead and inspire our amazing volunteer team, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.

Our Cambridge, Histon Road Shop is one of EACH's most successful shops in a very popular area of Cambridge. The shop benefits from a high footfall of customers and donors supported by great access and parking on a very busy route into Cambridge city centre; selling a mix of high quality fashion clothing, bric-a-brac, books and new goods. It is a busy, yet exciting working environment.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Shop Manager in achieving ambitious sales targets.

• Maintain high standards of display, presentation, and cleanliness.

• Promote Gift Aid and help grow our eCommerce presence.

• Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

• Recruit, train, and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive environment.

• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.
