Summary
Join One of the UK's Leading Agricultural Technology Businesses
Agri-tech Services (UK) Ltd is a specialist provider of irrigation management, precision farming and environmental monitoring services, helping growers across the UK and overseas make informed decisions that improve crop performance, sustainability and profitability.
As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Technology Advisor to join our close-knit team and support growers across the Eastern region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for agriculture who enjoys combining practical fieldwork, technology and customer interaction. Whether you are an agricultural graduate, have hands-on farming experience, or are looking to develop your career within agricultural technology, we can provide the training and support needed to succeed.
About Us
We are a team of around ten people who pride ourselves on being collaborative, innovative and customer focused.
Unlike large corporate businesses, we operate in a high-trust environment where individuals are encouraged to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas and develop their skills. We work closely together, support one another and genuinely enjoy what we do.
Our customers range from progressive fruit and vegetable growers through to large-scale farming businesses, all looking to use technology and data to improve decision-making and maximise returns.
About the Role
This is a varied role that changes throughout the seasons.
During the growing season, you will work closely with growers, helping them understand and utilise irrigation and monitoring data to make informed crop management decisions. You will regularly visit farms, carry out crop observations and act as a trusted point of contact for your customers.
During the winter months, you will be involved in GPS-guided precision soil sampling programmes, operating specialist equipment, collecting accurate field data and supporting the production of precision farming reports and mapping outputs.
The role combines:
Agricultural technology
Precision farming
Customer support
Data interpretation
Field-based crop observations
Practical machinery operation
Relationship management
No two days are the same.
