Summary

We are looking to recruit Pool Safety and Support Assistants to work in the newly renovated hydrotherapy pool at Fulwell Community Resource Centre. The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, inclusive, and person-centred operation of the swimming pool facility, supporting individuals with a range of physical, sensory, and learning needs.

The successful candidates’ responsibilities include:

Health and safety compliance which includes monitoring and maintaining water quality in accordance with approved codes of practice.

Respond to and screen telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries, delivering a high standard of customer service and ensuring all communications are handled efficiently and courteously.

Managing the pool booking system by monitoring availability, processing payments, and uphold SCAS financial protocols.

Promoting a respectful and inclusive environment where people are treated as individuals and feel in control of their experience.

This role operates on a rota basis from Monday - Sunday, including evenings up to 8:00pm.

Experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable, but not essential.

The role of a pool safety and support assistant is extremely rewarding and in return we offer:
