Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (finish times may vary depending on business needs)
About the Role:
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy waste management team based in Melton Mowbray.
This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for driving a range of vehicles and supporting essential waste collection and environmental services across the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
. Safely operate a Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
. Drive a 7.5T vehicle to complete bulky waste collections.
. Carry out fly-tip clearances.
. Deliver wheeled bins and waste containers to customers.
. Assist with loading duties when required.
. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
. Follow all health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations.
. Provide a professional service while representing the company.
