We're looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual to join us as a
Customer Accounts Officer (Support)
within our Customer Accounts Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help customers sustain their tenancies, maximise their income and access the support they need, while contributing to a service that makes a real difference to people's lives every day
About The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality income management service, working closely with customers to identify effective payment solutions and prevent rent arrears from escalating. You'll support customers through a range of channels, building positive relationships, understanding individual circumstances and helping them access the right support at the right time.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies and stakeholders, you'll help deliver excellent outcomes for customers while supporting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and service excellence.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering great customer service and making a positive impact in local communities.
You'll have experience of working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver excellent services, alongside strong communication and organisational skills. You'll be confident making decisions, managing competing priorities and building positive relationships with customers, even in challenging situations.
Knowledge of social housing, income management, welfare benefits or tenancy support would be beneficial, together with a commitment to our values of openness, inclusion, collaboration and innovation.

Customer Accounts Officer (Support) – permanent role
Salary is £37,363 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,405 per annum
Location: Stanley
Regular travel will be required
37 hours per week
with agile working
