Summary

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading vehicle servicing and repair group in Reading, Berkshire, for a dedicated MOT Tester.

This MOT Tester role presents an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals seeking career progression within a reputable organisation.

Duties as a MOT Tester will include:

- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with government standards, ensuring vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

- Support customers throughout the MOT process, providing updates and explaining required repairs or failures.

- Maintain high levels of customer service to foster long-lasting client relationships.

- Assist colleagues with workshop tasks as required, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.

- Accurately and efficiently test vehicles while adhering strictly to safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Valid MOT Tester licence and a full UK driving licence.

- Proven experience conducting MOTs to a high standard.

- Strong communication skills, capable of assuring and informing customers.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
