Summary

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of private day nurseries across the Leeds area. These nurseries provide nurturing, engaging environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, build confidence, and develop key early years skills within safe and supportive surroundings.
The nurseries are looking to appoint experienced Early Years Assistants on a temporary basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. The successful Early Years Assistant will support children throughout their daily activities, encourage learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, and work closely with nursery teams to create a positive and stimulating environment for all children.
The successful Early Years Assistant will have:
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude
