Cleaning Operative to join our team at
Queen Street.
You'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for our client, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the wider facilities team.
What you'll do
- Clean offices, meeting rooms and communal areas to a high standard
- Complete daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise designated areas
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste correctly
- Replenish consumables where required
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH guidance
- Display safety signage and follow safe working practices
- Keep cleaning stores tidy and equipment in good working order
- Report maintenance issues, hazards and faulty equipment
- Support colleagues by providing cover during holidays and absences
- Maintain excellent hygiene, presentation and customer service standards
- Follow all client, health & safety and company policies
What you'll bring
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable
- Good knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Understanding of health & safety and COSHH procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to changing business needs
- Commitment to delivering service excellence
Desirable:
- BICSc or NVQ Cleaning qualification
- Experience working within a compliance-driven environment
