Summary

We are currently looking for 2x Forklift Drivers for a client of ours who is looking to expand there team.Job description:Location – Split between both Sutton Benger and Calne (occasionally)Hours of work – 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday although you will be required to work outside of these hours and work weekends based on department work load. With our increasing stock of equipment and growing project portfolio, they are now looking to grow their equipment team, who play a key role in sorting and packing a diverse range of equipment. About the role:As Yard Operative, your role will be to support the manager and the rest of the equipment team with the organisation, cleaning and packing of temporary power equipment such as cabling and lighting. You will be required to work in all weathers and operate outside of normal working hours, which may include weekends to ensure equipment picking deadlines are met. The role will be fast paced and involve a high level of manual labour.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:· Ensure all cable, distribution boxes, cable ramp and equipment is picked meeting high standards· Operate using a tablet and digital stock management system· Visually check assets at point of check in and out for signs of damage· Loading and unloading of trucks· Cleaning of cable and equipment· Sorting equipment for the electrical team during testing and inspection periods· Maintain a safe and clean work area· Support in other areas of engineering, when required.· Work both inside and outdoorsAbout You:· Right to work within the UK· Willing to work extra hours outside of 9am - 5pm· Commitment and Willingness to learn and to improve· Good house keeping· Reliable· To be flexible and adaptable to your approach to work· Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team· Driven and self-motivated· Strong communication skills· Awareness of environmental impact· B1 counterbalance forklift license (desirable but training can be provided)· Experience working within event power, lighting or theatre equipment warehouse and distribution (desirable but training can be given)If interested please apply!
