Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and develop our Audiology Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transition of the current outsourced Audiology provision back to an in-house service, driving innovation and service improvement to meet the needs of patients and stakeholders. Working closely with clinical and operational colleagues, you will develop and deliver a clear vision for the service that supports Trust objectives and national priorities.
As the Trust's professional lead for Audiology, you will provide expert leadership across diagnostic and rehabilitative services. Ensuring high standards of clinical practice, governance, patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will be accountable for the achievement of performance targets and the delivery of effective and efficient services.
You will lead and develop the Audiology workforce, supporting professional development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will also hold responsibility for financial management, including budget oversight and resource planning, ensuring value for money while maintaining excellent standards of patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Audiology services across the Trust.
• Providing overall leadership and management of the Audiology Service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.
• Leading the planning, development and day-to-day operation of Audiology services to meet the needs of patients and the Trust.
• Monitoring and improving service performance, including achievement of key targets such as DM01, waiting times and activity levels.
• Analysing and reporting on performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve patient access, efficiency and outcomes.
• Acting as the Trust's professional lead for Audiology and providing expert clinical leadership across diagnostic and rehabilitative services.
• Ensuring services are delivered in line with national guidance, professional standards, clinical governance requirements and best practice.
• Holding overall responsibility for the financial management of the service, including budget oversight, resource allocation and workforce planning.
• Leading, supporting and developing the Audiology workforce, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, learning and high performance.
• Maintaining personal professional competence and supporting the ongoing development of clinical standards within the service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support service transformation, innovation and future development.
• Ensuring compliance with Trust policies, procedures and regulatory requirements at all times.
