Summary
An HGV Driver / Labourer is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment to and from sites. The role also includes assisting scaffold teams with general labouring duties, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures.
Load, secure, transport, and unload scaffolding materials and equipment.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Assist scaffolders with loading, unloading, and general labouring duties on site.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and wear the required PPE.
Complete delivery paperwork and follow site instructions.
Support the team to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
