We are seeking an experienced Web Designer with strong expertise in leading and delivering complex business transformation and change initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership to ensure that organisational changes are effectively planned, communicated, implemented, and embedded, while minimising disruption and maximising business value.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):

Design visually compelling, responsive, and accessible websites, web applications, customer portals, landing pages, and enterprise digital platforms aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.

Translate business requirements, user needs, and customer journeys into intuitive user interface designs and engaging digital experiences.

Conduct user research, stakeholder workshops, usability studies, competitor benchmarking, and heuristic evaluations to understand user behaviour and business requirements.

Develop wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and production-ready design assets.

Create responsive designs that deliver seamless user experiences across desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and emerging digital devices.

Design user interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, inclusive design principles, and international usability guidelines.

Develop and maintain enterprise design systems, reusable UI components, design libraries, style guides, typography standards, iconography, and branding assets.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, UX Researchers, Front-End Developers, Back-End Engineers, QA teams, and Marketing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Produce pixel-perfect UI specifications, interaction designs, animation guidelines, component behaviours, and developer handoff documentation.

Design interactive dashboards, customer portals, e-commerce interfaces, SaaS platforms, CMS-driven websites, and enterprise web applications.

Optimise website layouts, navigation structures, information architecture, content hierarchy, and user journeys to maximise engagement and usability.

Support front-end implementation by working closely with developers to ensure accurate design translation and visual consistency.

Design engaging micro-interactions, transitions, motion graphics, and interactive elements that improve user engagement while maintaining performance.

Analyse website performance metrics, user engagement, heatmaps, clickstream analytics, and customer behaviour to drive continuous design improvements.

Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimise landing pages for SEO, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), lead generation, and campaign performance.

Design multimedia assets including banners, infographics, illustrations, marketing collateral, social media graphics, icons, and promotional content.

Ensure all digital solutions maintain brand consistency across multiple products, business units, and customer touchpoints.

Support A/B testing initiatives by designing multiple user interface variations to improve user engagement and business performance.

Evaluate emerging design trends, AI-powered design technologies, no-code platforms, accessibility improvements, and modern UI frameworks to continuously enhance digital capabilities.

Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, product demonstrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain comprehensive documentation including design decisions, component libraries, usability findings, accessibility assessments, and design governance standards.

Contribute towards innovation by introducing modern design methodologies, automation tools, AI-assisted design workflows, and evolving best practices.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]

Bachelor's degree or higher in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Multimedia Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

Minimum 3-7 years of professional experience in Web Design, UI Design, UX Design, Digital Product Design, Front-End Design, or Digital Experience Design.

Demonstrable experience designing responsive websites, enterprise portals, SaaS platforms, e-commerce websites, and customer-facing digital applications.

Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design, responsive layouts, accessibility, branding, and user experience capabilities
