Working with our Housing Repairs Team at South Holland District Council you will learn hands on across a wide range of trades, including electrical, carpentry, plastering and plumbing trades. With one day release per week at Stamford College, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn whilst contributing to the ongoing success of our internal repairs team

As an apprentice, you will:

Learn practical construction and maintenance skills in a supportive working environment.

Gain valuable experience in improving and maintaining homes in the Social Housing sector

Receive on-the-job training from experienced colleagues

Work towards a nationally recognised qualification

Learn core skills of working within a team towards common goals

Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day activities

We are looking for a dedicated leader with significant experience in property repairs, maintenance and construction-based health and safety.

You will:

Hold GCSE equivalent level 4/C in Maths and English

Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Be reliable, enthusiastic and motivated

Work well as part of a team

Have good communication skills
