Summary

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Class Teacher to join our Key Stage 1 team, teaching a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire children to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.

The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, assessing pupil progress effectively, and creating a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported and challenged. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be able to adapt teaching to ensure all children, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils, make excellent progress.

The class teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for pupils and contribute fully to the wider life of the school. They will uphold the school's values, maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and foster a love of learning through a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum.

We are looking for someone who could start after from the 2nd November with a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, with the view to extend.
