Summary

To work as a member of the Housekeeping team to assist with the daily tasks required to maintain the levels of cleanliness required for the environment. To provide routine information with colleagues, ward, clinic managers and Supervisor. To provide a food and beverage service to patients . To complete tasks or activities to ensure cleanliness levels are achieved and documentation is completed for Trust patients, staff and visitors. To comply with all Trust Policies, Infection Prevention protocols and Health and Safety requirements. To ensure safe use, and cleanliness, of all work equipment required - e.g. Vacuums, Rangers, and Scrubber/dryers etc. following Housekeeping standard operating procedures. To monitor and report on stock levels and ensuring that these are correctly stored in line with COSHH. To record personally generated information for compliance to ensure Infection prevention protocols are followed. To work within clearly defined procedures using own initiative on routine matters, with supervision available. To wear full uniform as issued and maintain personal appearance and hygiene at a standard commensurate with the duties and role of the post.
