What we are looking for A clinical qualification in one of the following areas: Mental Health Nursing Adult Nursing Paediatric Nursing Learning Disability Nursing Social Work Relevant registration with NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC Experience in a similar role working with mental health, risk assessment, safeguarding and neurodevelopment Excellent knowledge of risk and safeguarding procedures Knowledge of neurodivergence and neurodevelopmental conditions A high level of written and verbal communication Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines What you’ll do as a Risk and Safeguarding Practitioner Triage referrals for Neurodevelopment Assessments, ensuring it is safe and appropriate for the client to be assessed via KT Healthcare’s assessment pathway Screen referrals for risk and conduct high quality risk assessments where required Undertake risk assessment phone calls with patients and families.
