Summary

Lancaster Medical School is seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic administrator with excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will join a resourceful and supportive Admissions Team that administers all stages of the high-stakes processes that recruit students to our Medicine programme. In addition, you will work closely with the Academic Lead for Widening Participation and marketing for medical admissions.

The post holder will provide high-level administrative support for the recruitment of medical students, coordinating a wide range of activities across the admissions cycle.  

Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages at an advanced level are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department. Ideally you will have previous administrative experience in a higher education or NHS background.

A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with a wide range of colleagues.
