Join a growing family business with genuine career progression.

Doors of Steel is a specialist supplier of luxury internal steel and glass doors. We work on high-end residential and commercial projects across the UK and are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious person to join our growing team.

This is a varied role combining sales, customer service, project management and practical site experience. No two days are the same. One day you’ll be preparing quotations and speaking with customers, the next you’ll be visiting site, assisting with surveys or shadowing our installation team.

Full training will be provided, so we’re more interested in your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn than previous experience in our industry.

What you’ll be doing

* Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email.

* Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.

* Managing customer orders from enquiry through to installation.

* Liaising with customers, suppliers and installation teams.

* Booking surveys, deliveries and installations.

* Visiting sites to assist with surveys and measurements.

* Shadowing experienced installers to develop product knowledge.

* Assisting with occasional deliveries and manual handling as part of a team.

* Supporting general business operations as we continue to grow.

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Friendly, confident and professional.

* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

* Eager to learn and develop a long-term career.

* Practical and happy to work both in the office and on site.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software.

* Able to work independently and use their initiative.

* Holds a full UK driving licence.

Desirable but not essential

* Experience in sales or customer service.

* Experience preparing quotations or managing customer orders.

* Construction, glazing, architectural products, kitchens, bathrooms or similar industry experience.

* Experience reading technical drawings or taking site measurements.

What we offer

* Full training and ongoing support.

* Genuine opportunities for career progression.

* A varied role with responsibility from day one.

* The opportunity to work closely with the directors of a successful family-owned business.

* A supportive, friendly working environment where your contribution will make a real difference.

If you’re hardworking, enthusiastic and looking for a long-term opportunity to build a career, we’d love to hear from you.
