Safeguarding training is mandatory for all employees and will form part of your induction and ongoing CPD.

We are seeking a proactive and organised Work Experience Officer to support students in securing meaningful work experience and industry placements, primarily within the Construction curriculum area.

The successful candidate will work closely with learners, employers, and curriculum teams to coordinate placements, ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met, and undertake employer visits, including health and safety assessments.

The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with construction employers, sourcing new placement opportunities, supporting industry placements, conducting reviews and acting as a key point of contact for all work experience enquiries.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records on the College CRM system and providing high-quality guidance and support to students throughout their placement journey.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people aged 16–18, excellent communication and organisational skills, confidence in using Microsoft 365 applications, and the ability to build effective partnerships with employers and external stakeholders.
