We specialise in English and Maths retake opportunities (GCSE and Functional Skills) for young people, as part of their study programme, as well as adult learners through part-time (day/evening) and online provision.

We are looking for an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics with a track record of success, and with passion, enthusiasm and flair to join our progressive and forward-thinking team.

The successful applicant(s) will have a related degree, a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) together with experience of teaching in either the FE or Schools’ sector. Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for the post.

The successful candidate will have experience of GCSE delivery and be responsible for creating and delivering, an inspiring and carefully sequenced curriculum to 16-18 and adult groups which could be across a range of our campuses and during daytime and evening hours.

The successful candidate should be confident and able to implement up to date teaching and learning pedagogy, both within the classroom and through online learning mediums.

The individual should have the vision and capability to adapt the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment to suit the needs of our diverse range of learners, from different vocational backgrounds and support needs, ensuring progress is made.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with their Curriculum Manager and Director of English and Maths, to ensure the department continues to move forward in this exiting curriculum area.

We currently require 12 hours per week teaching across Tuesday & Friday at our Tamworth Campus.
