Hours: 4 hours per week during school holidays only (13 weeks per year)

Employed Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour Self-Employed Rate of Pay - £18.92 per hour

A Personal Assistant is required to support a young person with autism and anxiety to access social and leisure activities during school holidays.The young person enjoys activities such as archery, swimming, visiting bookshops, and community outings. Support will focus on building confidence, encouraging independence and helping them engage in activities they enjoy.Duties include:

• Supporting access to social and leisure activities
• Accompanying the young person to archery sessions and community outings
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Providing patient, positive, and reassuring support

We are looking for someone who is:

• Patient, persuasive and encouraging
• Understanding of autism and anxiety
• Reliable and able to build a positive rapport
• Comfortable supporting a young person in the community

No preference regarding age or gender.Hours available:

• Thursday afternoons, approximately 3pm–5pm (archery)
• Additional 2-hour afternoon session, flexible by agreement

Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check where required.
