Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive dealership group for the position of Service Advisor in Telford, Shropshire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking to progress their career within a well-established and customer-focused dealership. The Service Advisor role offers the chance to work within a busy dealership environment, providing outstanding customer service and supporting workshop operations. - Circa £35,000 OTE depending on experience

- Basic salary of £30,000 (dependent on experience)

- Saturdays on a rota basis

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Greeting customers and delivering exceptional customer service

- Booking vehicle service and repair appointments

- Accurately recording customer concerns and workshop job details

- Acting as a liaison between customers and the workshop team

- Updating customers on progress and additional work requirements

- Promoting and explaining additional repair and maintenance work

- Maintaining accurate dealership management system records

- Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure smooth customer journeys

Requirements for a Service Advisor:

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Good IT skills, experience with dealership management systems such as Kerridge/Drive or E-Dynamix is advantageous

- Knowledge of Ford vehicles is a plus but not essential

- A full UK Driving Licence
