Summary
About the role
Radis Community Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a person-centred team supporting a client in the Upton area, aswell as covering hours at our main site Clarence Park Village.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful one-to-one support relationships and providing consistent, respectful care that promotes independence and quality of life.
About the individual you’ll be supporting
You will be supporting a client who requires hoisting, PEG feed, and some other nursing tasks. All training will be provided.
Shift pattern
• 7am-5pm (shift times can be split up if preferred e.g. 9am-12pm , 3pm-5pm)
• Alternating weekends required
Responsibilities
• Providing companionship and support
• Support with personal care including hoisting
• Preparing drinks and meals
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
• Working closely with family members to maintain consistency of care
What we are looking for
• A kind, patient, and dependable individual
• Good communication and reliability
• Experience in care in helpful but not essential – full training is provided
• Ability to work as a part of a small team
• A genuine interest in supporting individuals with additional needs
