Summary

Clinical Duties and Responsibilities . To implement Physiotherapy Programmes under supervision as directed or monitored by the Physiotherapists. It will involve:- Preparing the treatment environment. Carrying out treatment activities. Liaising with other professionals or workers involved. Observing and recording childs responses. Communicating outcome of treatment session. Assessing childs progress. Feedback to the therapists any changes or concerns regarding the childs physical abilities/equipment Upgrading and advising activities etc. Working in both individual and group situations with the children. 2. To assist in developing and writing individual or group treatment plans. 3.To assist with the provision and organisation of the postural management equipment/mobility equipment. 4. To adapt equipment under the direction of a Physiotherapist. 5. Assist in Hydrotherapy sessions if required. 6. To prepare training materials. 7. To assist in the fabrication/application of splints. 8. To be responsible for the organisation, storage and maintenance of treatment materials and equipment, and report faults / shortage when necessary, in conjunction with other team members.
