We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our team in Rochford. Due to the location of the home, a full driving licence is essential, although we can also consider applicants with a motorbike licence who can travel to the home reliably.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll provide person centred support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, helping people live independently, achieve their goals, and enjoy the routines that matter most to them. Relief work offers the flexibility to choose shifts that fit around your lifestyle while gaining experience across a variety of support settings. You'll also benefit from full training, opportunities for career development, and an annual leave uplift paid on top of your hourly rate.
The people you may support enjoy:
- Seafront trips, shopping, cafés, meals out, visiting places of interest.
- Creative hobbies such as art, writing, crafts, reading and social media.
- Gym sessions, day centres, pottery, college groups and social clubs.
- Occasional nightlife activities including weekly inclusive club nights.
- Spending time with animals (some individuals may have pets who stay occasionally).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Encouraging independence and supporting daily living skills.
- Assisting with cooking, meal preparation and healthy living.
- Providing reassurance with personal care where required.
- Maintaining accurate records, safeguarding logs and person-centred documentation.
- Working flexibly depending on the needs of each home.
About you
We're looking for people who:

- Are comfortable around pets.
- Want to help others live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
- Have a
full driving licence (motorbike considered).
