What does the day of a Cook look like?
Our Cooks play a key role in serving nutritious home cooked meals, whilst also maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness
and health and safety:
* Producing varied, tasty menus for our residents, whilst also considering individual dietary requirements
* To provide special diets where necessary
* Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen
* Preparing and serving meals
* Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
* Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering
* Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience working as a Cook, with the ability to accommodate a variety of
dietary requirements. In addition, we expect you to hold all the relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates, and that
you are aware of all the relevant regulations.
