About TINIT
TINIT is a growing independent brand designing and selling unique, design-led tins and gifts. We sell directly to customers online and supply retailers across the UK.
As the business continues to grow, I’m looking for someone reliable and organised who can take responsibility for some of the day-to-day operations and help keep everything running smoothly.
The role
This will initially be a practical, hands-on role focused on preparing products, picking and packing orders, organising stock and maintaining an efficient workspace.
You will learn how orders are processed across our different sales platforms, including the slightly different requirements for customer and wholesale orders. Once you are comfortable with the products, systems and shipping processes, there will be the opportunity to help respond to customers and take on more responsibility within the business.
The aim is to find someone who can learn the nuances of how TINIT operates and gradually take more of the day-to-day workload off me.
Responsibilities
Picking and packing customer and wholesale orders
Preparing products ready for sale
Applying barcodes, labels and stickers accurately
Checking products for quality and presentation
Organising, replenishing and monitoring stock
Keeping the workspace clean, tidy and efficient
Learning our different ordering and shipping platforms
Helping with customer enquiries once fully trained
Supporting other areas of the business when needed
You will often be working independently, although I will always be available by phone to answer questions and provide support.
Useful but not essential
Experience in any of the following would be a real advantage:
Picking, packing, fulfilment or stock management
Customer service
Social media or digital marketing
TikTok, Instagram or content creation
Product photography or video
Improving systems and working processes
These skills are not essential to the initial role, but they could create opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.
Hours and start date
The hours can be flexible and could work well around school hours or other commitments. The important thing is that agreed work is completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
More hours are likely to be available during busy periods, particularly in the run-up to Christmas.
We will shortly be moving into larger premises, so the in-person start date is not immediate. Before then, there may be an opportunity to carry out suitable product-preparation work from home, provided there is a clean, organised and appropriate working environment.
What we offer
Flexible working hours
Relaxed and friendly working environment
Free on-site parking
Employee discount
Varied work within a growing independent brand
Training across our products, systems and sales platforms
Opportunity to progress and take on greater responsibility
