Location: Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk, YO7 3EY Pay: £12.71 per hour (£13,263.64 per annum) Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week  Shift times:  This role is flexible to fit either a 4

- or 5-day week. A typical week could look like: Mon to Fri 0900 – 1300 OR Mon to Thurs 0900 – 1400 Join Aramark UK as a Cleaner at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk. You’ll help keep accommodation/living and sanitary areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.

What you’ll do:

- You will be assigned set areas/buildings, such as accommodation blocks, offices, workshops, Regimental Headquarters etc. You will ensure a high standard is maintained throughout and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner. 

- You will work alone but on occasion as part of a team, always working to ensure all daily tasks have been covered. 

- Duties will include general ablution and kitchen cleaning, sweeping, mopping, hoovering, waste disposal

- including adhering to all waste segregation requirements and other general duties attached to the role. 

- Reporting hazards and checking equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management. 

What we’re looking for:

- Previous cleaning experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site. 

- Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role. 

- Must have a reliable mode of transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
