Summary

Cardiff and Vale College is seeking an enthusiastic and industry-focused Lecturer in Engineering to join our Engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers by delivering high-quality teaching across a range of Engineering programmes from Level 1 to Level 5. You will play a key role in helping learners develop the knowledge, technical skills and confidence required to progress into higher education or employment within the engineering sector. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and support innovation within a growing and evolving department.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging learning experiences, assessing learner progress and providing the support required to help students achieve their full potential. You will contribute to course development, quality improvement activities and the wider success of the Engineering department.

Working closely with colleagues and industry partners, you will help ensure our curriculum remains relevant, responsive and aligned to current industry practices. The role may also involve teaching within community venues and supporting College activities outside of normal working hours where required.
