Summary

Location: DE65

Pay: £15.30 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 (47.5 hours per week)

Overtime: Saturday paid at time and a half | Sunday paid at double time

Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in DE65.

This is a full-time, ongoing position offering regular hours and excellent overtime opportunities.

Duties include:

. Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently.

. Loading articulated (HGV) vehicles.

. Loading waste collection vehicles.

. Loading tunnels, shredders, screeners and other equipment involved in the composting process.

. Moving and stockpiling materials around the site.

. Carrying out routine maintenance on mobile plant, including greasing and cleaning.

. Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

. Following all site health and safety procedures.

. Supporting the wider site team with general operational duties as required.
