Responsibilities As a Skilled Groundworker, your responsibilities will include:
- Digging out to pin kerbing.
- Stoning up and tarmacking patches.
- Performing drainage work.
- Installing blister paving.
- Using CAT scan equipment.
- Setting out lines accurately.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a valid CSCS Card (essential).
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive (essential).
- Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in cycle path construction.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve:
- Preparing and excavating the site for kerbing and paving.
- Ensuring proper drainage installation and maintenance.
- Using tools and equipment, including CAT scans, to ensure accuracy and safety.
