Summary

We are representing an independent automotive business in Newcastle seeking a highly motivated Sales and Service Advisor. This is a full-time position offering a competitive basic salary and excellent bonus potential. Our client is committed to providing exceptional customer service and values individuals with a proactive attitude and previous experience in a customer-facing role.

Duties of a Sales and Service Advisor:

- Provide superior customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email

- Advise customers on a range of products and services, ensuring accurate and efficient order processing

- Manage bookings for trailer hire, towbar fitting, and workshop services

- Receive, display, and maintain stock to maximise sales opportunities

- Support workshop workflow with effective coordination and updates

- Handle cash, banking, invoicing, and credit transactions with accuracy

- Maintain administration and filing systems according to company standards

- Uphold Health & Safety policies and maintain a professional and tidy working environment

Requirements of a Sales and Service Advisor:

- Previous experience in a sales, service, or customer-facing role

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Confident handling of sales transactions and basic administration

- Proactive approach to customer care and sales development

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Forklift licence is desirable; training can be provided for the right individual
