Summary

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Vehicle Aftersales Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent Aftersales Advisor opportunity for a motivated individual to develop within a respected automotive business.

Duties of an Aftersales Advisor:

- Greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for repairs

- Liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and ensure timely delivery

- Advise and influence customers on minor technical issues, delivering a first-class service

- Upsell additional products and services where appropriate

- Keep customers informed regarding vehicle repair progress

- Take payments for completed work and ensure customer satisfaction

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers

- Support the dealership’s objectives and targets related to aftersales services

Requirements of an Aftersales Advisor:

- Prior or current experience as an Aftersales Advisor is desirable but not essential

- Strong customer service background from hospitality or retail sectors will be considered

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- IT proficiency, ideally with experience using Kerridge Dealer Management System (non-essential)

- Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers regarding warranty work (advantageous but non-essential)

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Genuine passion for automotive brands and delivering high-quality customer service
