Summary

The must haves for you to be considered for this role: Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and significant post-registration experience in diabetes care, including specialist diabetes nursing practice. Extensive knowledge of diabetes management, including insulin therapies, diabetes technology and evidence-based practice, with the ability to manage complex clinical cases autonomously. Excellent communication, leadership and multidisciplinary working skills, with experience of delivering education to patients and healthcare professionals. Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake this qualification as a requirement of the role) and the ability to travel across East Berkshire to deliver community-based services if required Applicants who do not meet all essential criteria may be considered for a band 6 to 7 progression model depending on experience.
