Summary

As part of the Biomedical Scientist team, you will rotate through all sections of the department, developing your technical skills and specialist knowledge while playing an active role in daily laboratory operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Processing and receiving specimens Embedding and sectioning tissue samples Performing immunohistochemistry and special staining techniques Supporting frozen section services Conducting quality control checks and maintaining laboratory standards Participating in departmental rotation programmes, including the ESL laboratory at BRI Ensuring compliance with laboratory quality and accreditation requirements
