Summary
You must have completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, which includes Non-Medical Prescribing and be able to present a portfolio demonstrating evidence of your ACP clinical competence. You will undergo a period of supervision and assessment to ensure you are embedded correctly into our workforce and to develop necessary skills/portfolio within clinical haematology. You will have a dedicated consultant supervisor who has dedicated time within their job plan. The post holder will rotate to the Oncology inpatient areas and will: Work as part of the medical team to provide skills in assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients under haematology either as an inpatient or within haematology day case. Ensure high communication with Oncology multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Act on patient or colleague/managerial feedback to improve the Oncology ACP service and for future personal development Perform an active role in service improvement, education, audit, management and leadership as per 4 pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice.
