About the Role:
As an Associate Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our registered Biomedical Scientists in delivering high-quality laboratory services. Key responsibilities include:
• Looking after Specimen Reception and leading a team of Medical Laboratory Assistants.
• Participating in laboratory testing procedures acrossHaematology, Biochemistry, Point of Care Testing, Rapid COVID-19 Testing, and Blood Transfusion if required.
• Providing technical support to scientific staff within the Blood Sciences Department.
• Working collaboratively to ensure efficient and accurate processing of samples.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
