About the Practice

This established GP surgery is recognised for delivering high-quality, accessible primary care and has invested heavily in creating an efficient, clinician-friendly working environment.

You'll become part of an experienced multidisciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Associates, First Contact Practitioners, HCAs and an exceptional administrative team, all working collaboratively to deliver outstanding patient care.

Efficient workflows and robust administrative support enable clinicians to spend more time focusing on patients while reducing unnecessary administrative pressures.

The leadership team actively encourages innovation, continuous learning and professional development, supporting clinicians to reach their full potential.

The Role

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will work as an autonomous clinician delivering safe, evidence-based care across a varied patient population.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions

• Independently prescribing where qualified

• Managing minor illness and minor injury presentations

• Ordering and interpreting appropriate investigations

• Developing evidence-based treatment plans

• Referring patients appropriately into secondary and community services

• Providing health promotion and preventative care advice

• Managing acute presentations and supporting long-term condition care

• Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

• Supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

• Acting as a clinical leader and mentor where appropriate

• Maintaining accurate electronic patient records

• Delivering safe, high-quality and patient-centred care

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated clinician who is passionate about providing exceptional primary care.

Applicants should have:

• Current NMC registration

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification

• Independent Prescribing qualification (or working towards)

• Experience within Primary Care or General Practice

• Minor Illness qualification

• Minor Injury experience

• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development

A Level 7 (MSc) Advanced Practice qualification is desirable, although candidates currently working towards this level will also be considered.
