A supportive and inclusive school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology graduate to join its team as a Learning Support Assistant from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a

final year psychology graduate who is passionate about child development, mental health, and supporting students with additional needs. The role would particularly suit someone considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Teaching, SEN support, or Speech and Language Therapy.

What's the role?

As a Graduate Psychology Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  • Assist students with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs

  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing

  • Encourage students'

    confidence, independence, and social development

  • Build strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • What are we looking for?

    - Recent Psychology graduate with a strong academic background- 1st or 2.1 degrees required

    - Matching A Level and GCSEs

    - Patient, empathetic, and resilient with excellent communication skills.

    - Some experience in a school, tutoring, or care setting (preferred

    but not essential).
