Long Term Futures is recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist early years setting in New Malden. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to support young children with additional needs at the very beginning of their educational journey, helping them develop confidence, communication and independence through play-based learning.
Working within a small, supportive classroom, you'll build strong relationships with pupils, adapting your approach to meet individual needs while creating a calm, engaging environment where every child can flourish.

- Supporting children across the EYFS curriculum through creative, play-based learning
- Delivering individual and small group support tailored to each child's needs
- Working alongside the class teacher, SENCo and wider school team to promote positive outcomes
- Supporting children with Autism and those currently undergoing assessment
- Encouraging communication, independence and social development
- Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Providing personal care where required as part of supporting pupils' wellbeing
- Has experience working within an EYFS environment
- Has supported children with SEND, particularly Autism
- Is patient, compassionate and able to build trusting relationships
- Can adapt activities and teaching approaches to suit individual learners
- Is reliable and committed to a long-term role
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Is comfortable providing personal care where required
- Long-term placements that offer consistency and career development
