Quokka Education is supporting one of Hampshire's top 10 secondary schools in Winchester to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated SEND team.
No previous school experience is required. What matters most is your attitude, empathy and willingness to support young people to achieve their potential.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting students with additional learning needs in lessons
- Working 1:1 and with small groups
- Building positive, consistent relationships with young people
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEND team
You'll play a key role in helping students grow in confidence, independence and achieve their potential.

You'll need GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

- Salary: £17,197-£17,427 (pro rata)
