AQS Homecare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Carer to join our dedicated domiciliary care team in Bournemouth.

About the Role:

As a Senior Carer, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred care to individuals within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will also provide guidance and support to care staff while assisting with care planning, reviews, and maintaining compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes

Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures

Support, mentor, and supervise care assistants

Assist with care assessments and care plan reviews

Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies

Participate in on-call duties where required

Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Previous experience within domiciliary care

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)

Strong communication and leadership skills

A professional, reliable, and compassionate approach

Right to work in the UK
