We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Shift Cleaner to join our team at our busy recycling plant in Edinburgh (EH21).

This is a physically demanding role suited to someone with previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or waste management environment. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while carrying out heavy-duty cleaning duties and assisting with routine machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

. Carry out heavy-duty cleaning of the recycling plant, machinery, and surrounding work areas.

. Remove waste, debris, and recyclable materials from designated areas.

. Clean conveyors, processing equipment, floors, and other plant facilities to company standards.

. Perform routine machine maintenance, including greasing and lubrication of equipment as instructed.

. Report any equipment faults, damage, or health and safety concerns to the supervisor.

. Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

. Safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals.

. Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the shift.

. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
